Track of the Week: Diamond Rings "All Yr Songs"
Toronto's John Regan is normally the front man for the arty punk band D'Urbervilles, but he's getting a lot of exposure with his new side project these days. It's called Diamond Rings and it lets him show off his poppier lo-fi side with his debut All Yr Songs. It's available on 7" vinyl at Hype Lighter. We've got it posted as our Track of the Week below.We also posted the video for the song, which we almost made our Video of the Week. It's a fun homage to 90's hip hop videos with Regan doing a Vanilla Ice impersonation. It's directed by Colin Medley with Regan hamming it up in front of green screens. Check it out below.
