Quick Brew Review: Atlas Sound "Logos"

Atlas Sound
Logos
Release Date: October 20, 2009
Label: Kranky
Music, Production: Bradford Cox
Backing Music, Vocals: Noah Lennox (Walkabout)
Backing Vocals: Laetitia Sadier (Quick Canal)

Key Tracks:
Atlanta band Deerhunter is known for it's shoegazy garage rock, while frontman Bradford Cox uses his solo project to channel his dreamy bedroom lo-fi side. The majority of this material has been all over the net since 2008, when it was accidently linked in his blog. The finished product doesn't push the sound envelope as much as his debut, but it's still musically adventurous enough to pickup new fans. The highlights are the catchy Sheila and the two collaberative efforts with Noah Lennox of Animal Collective and Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab.
