We've been checking out Sirius radio again since we got the new car with the 3 month trial and we have to say it's great for us indie music fans. The XMU channel showcases a lot of the music we listen to and host shows from the big blogs we check out regularly like gorillavsbear, Aquarium Drunkard, Hipster Runoff, Brooklyn Vegan, and our local Indianapolis one, My Old Kentucky Home They have live in studio interviews and performance of new and established indie artists. We don't want to sound like a commercial for them (unless Sirius is willing to pay for it, of course), but let's face it conventional radio is dead here locally unless you like classic rock, country, top 40, or emo metal (which started out as an indie progressive station long ago). Besides, there's too many commercials these days and they are way too fucking annoying to take.

Sirius has been losing money lately and the stock price plummeted after taking on a mountain of debt from their merger with XM. Hopefully, they can sort all this out. Personally, I think Howard Stern is a total waste of their cash flow. I know he's got some old school fans, but after all these years, he's still making penis and fart jokes like a grade school kid, and bringing in strippers from the titty bar he owns to show their bods, which you can't even see on radio anyway. So Sirius, why not axe the douchebag and save yourself a bundle.

Speaking of glorious bods, we just watched Transformers 2 and man, is Megan Fox gorgeous! You have to endure the totally inane plot, but watching her is nearly worth the price (and the action scenes are ok, too). Sure, we hear about all the crazy stuff the chick does, but as a piece of eye candy, she's up there with the likes of Jessica Alba, Elisa Cuthbert and Scarlett Johannson in the fantasy movie in my head anyway.
