Brewing: Beach House

Beach House, Baltimore duo Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand, are delivering their third album on January 26th. This is their highly anticipated follow-up to 2008's Devotion which made Pitchfork's year end best album list. This year they contributed a cover of Queen's Play The Game for the Red Hot charity compilation Dark Was The Night (we reviewed here). Also this year, Legrand provided backing vocals on one of our favorite Grizzly Bear songs Two Weeks from Veckatimest (that one reviewed here) and on another track Slow Life included on the Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack (we recently reviewed here).

The new album Teen Dream was recorded in a converted church in upstate New York called Dreamland, which perfectly fits their lush dreamy pop sound. The album was produced by Chris Coady, who has worked with TV On The Radio and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It's their first release on Sub Pop Records and will be packaged with a companion DVD of videos for each song. According to the label, this is the cover (yep, completely blank), track list and first single posted below.

Track List:
1.  Zebra
2.  Silver Soul
3.  Norway
4.  Walk in the Park
5.  Used to Be
6.  Lover of Mine
7.  Better Times
8.  10 Mile Stereo
9.  Real Love
10. Take Care

Enjoy, GB
