Brewing: Ted Leo and The Pharmacists
Washington DC's Ted Leo and The Pharmacists have a new album coming out on a new label. Leo's new album will be titled The Brutalist Bricks and will be released March 9th on Matador Records. This is the latest in a number of label changes he has had to make. Most of his recording catalog was with Lookout! Records until 2006 when they ran into financial difficulties. His 2007album Living With The Living was released on Touch and Go, before it too experienced economic problems earlier this year. Matador should be a good move, since it houses a number of venerable indie acts such as Cat Power, The New Pornographers, Pavement, Sonic Youth, and Yo La Tengo.
